Always, ALWAYS, the things that are the littlest and often overlooked, are the ones that can brighten up a person's day.
I woke up at 5 something in the morning today and I was freezing. My feet were so cold. My body begged me to stay in bed. I felt so vulnerable. Then I realised what happened - I caught a cold. Dragged myself to have breakfast since my stomach was growling, and then I fell asleep after that.
... and woke up feeling drowsy, 5 minutes before class. Shit.
Rushed. Late for class by 20 minutes. I pushed the door and tried to walk in as quickly as possible. I was expecting those "killer stares" that people usually give you when you're late for something. I didn't get any. I was greeted by all of them. Well, at least - the loud ones.
"Ehh, HII!"
"HELLO!"
"Heyy!"
I was stunned. Smiled and said a softer 'hi' and sped up to get a seat. This is probably the first time I was ever greeted by people like this, even when I'm late. Even my old classmates weren't that friendly...
Anyway, I'm just truly thankful to be able to be a part of their class. It doesn't matter if they really meant it, it's made my day and that's all that matters. :)
Signing off,
Cindy.

When my dad got seriously ill circa 2016, I was in my last semester of
degree. I couldn't finish my thesis and had to take a 2-semester extension.
